Christmas Card Printmaking

A really fun event that will enable you to create an edition of Christmas cards to give to friends and family whilst learning more about a range of printing techniques and letter press. Renowned artist and printmaker Jesse Leroy Smith will be providing one to one tuition on creating the Christmas card images with various printing techniques used. Artist and talented illustrator Alex Higlett will be providing the letterpress tuition throughout the day.

Lots of one to one help from experienced printmaker Jesse Leroy Smith and Letter press specialist Alex Higlett.

The two days can be purchased individually but many of the students attending this event in previous years have opted to do both days to create more cards.

Where to meet:

Newlyn School of Art at 9.50 for a 10am start

Level:

All skill levels, from beginners to those with more experience. If you have any specific access or support requirements please give us a call at the time of booking to discuss your needs.

Age:

We would advise that this course is suitable for those of 16 years of age and upwards. We put these guidelines in place for the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all our students.

What to bring:

Please bring old clothes that you are happy to get printing ink on and a few ideas of the imagery you want to make.

Lunch:

Please bring a packed lunch.
