Coast Painting Course

This three day mixed media coastal landscape painting course is taught by highly respected coastal painter Paul Lewin. The course will give students the opportunity to paint in the dramatic cliff top locations for which West Cornwall is famous. Paul will share his in depth knowledge of the local coastline and the countless techniques and applications of the broad range of media he uses in his painting. A hands-on course based mainly in the outdoors which will be hugely informative and inspiring to students of all levels of experience. This course involves some walking of coastal paths so a basic level of fitness is required.

All levels of experience. Beginners welcome. If you have any specific access or support requirements please give us a call at the time of booking to discuss your needs.

Age:

We would advise that this course is suitable for those of 16 years of age and upwards. We put these guidelines in place for the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all our students.

What to bring:

Please bring old clothes to paint in. Please bring waterproofs and warm clothes incase of bad weather. Sturdy shoes such as trainers or walking boots for some walking on coast paths. Bring a hat as it does sometimes get really sunny and something to sit on (cushion or just a rolled up fleece). An A3 sketch pad and some soft pencils.
