EXPERIMENTAL DRAWING COURSE
A playful, fun and exciting course which aims to free up your drawing process; focusing on experimental mark making. Students will use a broad range of traditional and non-traditional techniques and materials. You will be encouraged to create spontaneous work through employing a wide range of practical and fun experimental exercises. Throughout the course there will be the opportunity to discuss ideas and interpret the practice of automatic drawing and painting through deconstruction combined with more considered drawing exercises. Course includes drawing with a huge range of materials from pencils, oil sticks, exercises on large paper with brushes on yard sticks to painting with industrial materials and immediate monoprinting with the etching press.
