Monoprinting and Drypoint

Both monoprinting and drypoint are wonderfully immediate printmaking processes which can inform and reflect the process of painting.

Using simple very accessible methods of drawing and applying coloured printing ink, vibrant, and unique original prints can be created. Monoprinting and drypoint would be of benefit to artists of all levels of experience to help provide a foundation for new avenues in their work.

Naomi has a great deal of experience in monoprinting and drypoint and her paintings are a wonderful example of how ideas from printmaking can feed into painting.

Level:

All skill levels, from beginners to those with more experience. If you have any specific access or support requirements please give us a call at the time of booking to discuss your needs.

Age:

We would advise that this course is suitable for those of 16 years of age and upwards. We put these guidelines in place for the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all our students.

What to bring:

Please bring clothes that you are happy to get printing ink on, an A3 Sketchpad and some pencils.

Lunch:

Please bring a packed lunch.
