Printing in Colour Sir Terry Frost Course
This exciting two day relief printing course enables students to understand much of how Sir Terry Frost made his vibrantly coloured relief prints. The course will be taught by Mary Crockett who worked alongside Master Printmaker Hugh Stoneman helping Frost make his prints here in Cornwall. Hugh's widow Linda has generously agreed that Stoneman Gallery in Penzance will lend Newlyn School of Art a number of the original graphic plates made by Frost to help us teach this course. Holding the plates next to the finished prints will create a remarkable insight into the printmaking process and an unmissable opportunity for fans of Frost and those passionate about colour to make their own prints under expert guidance.
Please meet at 9.50am for a 10am start at Newlyn School of Art, The Old Board School, Chywoone Hill, Newlyn, Cornwall, TR18 5AW.
