OUTDOOR PAINTING WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT
BE PART OF A WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT AND ENTER TO WIN A LUXURY WEEK STAY IN CORNWALL INCLUDING A RICK STEIN MEAL
The National Trust, installation artist Anthony Garratt and Newlyn School of Art are inviting members of the public, from beginners to practicing artists, to join us in creating a record attempt for the most people painting a landscape outdoors in the same place on September 1st. Hundreds of participants will form a line of painters along the mile of dramatic coastline between Land's End and Sennen in west Cornwall. The event will be shown on national television.
The event will be in aid of creating new stone footings to preserve this special cliff-top path at England's most westerly point for future generations and to help protect the rare flora and fauna which exist along it.
To receive emails on how to participate including being sent the official registration online form (£2 entry fee - all going to the above cause) and information on where and when to meet, what to bring etc, fill in the above name and email form. We look forward to creating a unique record breaking art installation with you…
