Patrick Lowry is a Tutor on our One Year Mentoring Weekends Course.
Patrick Lowry's recent installation at the Exchange Gallery in Penzance required him to create a full-sized replica of the façade and garden of a 1950s American suburban home complete with a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air.
American Dream is a work conceived as a response to, and comment on, the current crises of capitalism and our consumption driven society. The work looks back to the seductive beginnings of the new, suburban, consumerist revolution that now dominates western societies and continues to expand globally.
