Tim Shaw RA
Belfast born sculptor Tim Shaw graduated from Falmouth School of Art in 1989 and has since become one of the country’s leading sculptors with significant solo exhibitions throughout the UK, Ireland and internationally and has his work in many public and private art collections. Shaw has undertaken major public commissions including ‘The Drummer’ for Truro City Centre unveiled by Queen percussionist Roger Taylor in 2011 and sculptures at The Eden Project and the Royal Opera House, London.
Based in West Cornwall, Shaw has been supported by awards from the Delphina Studio Trust, the British School in Athens and the Kenneth Armitage Foundation which have led to a number of residencies throughout Europe.
