EXPERIMENTAL LANDSCAPE

This immersive four-day Experimental Landscape course taught by artist Anthony Garratt is an exciting journey in pushing the boundaries of painting in response to the dramatic landscape of West Cornwall.

A generous and inspiring tutor, Anthony shares his knowledge of a wide range of painting processes, often encouraging experimentation with paints such as water-based oils, acrylic mediums, household paints and artist-quality spray paints alongside more traditional materials such as acrylic paints and charcoal.

Composition, paint application, colour, surface and use of tone will be explored on a range of supports from paper to board.

The energetic course is open to all levels of experience from near beginners through to practicing artists.
