This exciting new online course has been designed for landscape painters who would like to broaden their painting process by incorporating accessible non-press printing techniques into their painting and mark-making practice.

The course takes several weeks to work through with a host of different exercises and demos.

Often using paint as opposed to printing inks, these raw and inventive methods can easily be incorporated into your paintings and drawings without the use of expensive materials or equipment.

The course will cover trace-monoprinting, sketching, on-site collage to create images and ideas to use back in the studio and monoprints without the use of a press. Other non-press methods will include using acrylics with a Gelli plate and a host of other techniques that Anita has created to use in her own practice.

Anita is an incredibly inventive artist and teacher and this course will no doubt act as a catalyst for participants to explore new ways of working. The course is jam-packed with addictive and universally easy-to-use non-press printing techniques, helping you both enrich and free up your approach to landscape painting.

The course is pre-recorded so that you can take your time to really absorb the wealth of advice, practical exercises and demonstrations throughout the course. We advise spending at least a few weeks working your way through the course. You have unlimited access to the course for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Some people may choose to go out into their surrounding landscape to do the exercises, but if not, the accompanying films of the Cornish landscape will be a fantastic resource to work with from the comfort of your own home. The exercises are demonstrated wonderfully by Anita with lots of hints and tips. Then the directions for what you can do are given on screen, in text form, so that you can pause to take in all in. It is crammed with lots of exercises for you to complete, and a wealth of advice and instruction from one of the UK's leading landscape artists.
