Tutors
Anita Reynolds
Anita teaches our new Abstracting the Landscape online course, three day Landscape for Beginners course, the four day Abstract Landscape course. She is also one of the artists who teaches on our Tresco Painting Holidays. She is one of the Tutors on our year long Defining Practice course. Anita is an intuitive and skilful mark maker whose landscapes often depict the frequently ignored aspects of place. "Using a wide range of painting and printmaking techniques satisfies my constant need to experiment and make."
She is perhaps best known for her Outline South West project during which she walked the 630 mile South West Coast Path producing a piece of artwork each day. For her current project 'A Year on Dartmoor' she plans to visit every one of the 365 square miles that make up the National Park; making a piece of work to represent each one. She had a wonderful piece filmed about her art practice on BBC 1 Countryfile in 2017 (add link: https://vimeo.com/235533168)
Anita is an experienced artist and art teacher and has an infectious energy and she is the most generous of tutors.
