Rob Unett
Rob Unett works with immediate and poignant thoughts, reacting to the moment. His surfaces are soaked with media, swallowing arrays of colour; a vocabulary to visually speak through. Whether it is through delicate lines, rhythmic washes, violent slashes, smears, tears or bleeds, emotions are released and images emerge. Sex, gender, pose, gesture, confusion, destruction and construction, all feature in the abstracted figures Unett depicts.
Rob is a gifted artist and Tutor and deeply generous in spirit when sharing his practice and encouraging others with theirs.
